Singapore Undergraduate
Policy Competition

About SUPC

The Singapore Undergraduate Policy Competition (SUPC) is an initiative conceptualised and organised by the Political Science Society of NUS (PSSOC).

At SUPC, undergraduates will be encouraged and equipped to think critically, analytically, and innovatively, in crafting potential policy solutions to various issues faced by society.

The inaugural edition, attracted 65 participants across 18 teams from both local and international universities.

SUPC is open to undergraduate students of all disciplines who are interested or passionate about public policy formulation. SUPC welcomes regional and international undergraduates not residing in Singapore to join too!

Competition Vision

To drive student engagement and ideation on contemporary public policy challenges, allow undergraduates to learn from industry experts and government officials on the challenges in formulating public policy solutions and spur undergraduates in the direction of solution-driven approaches to public policies.

Competition Theme

The theme for SUPC 2024, "Ouroboros: Circles of Sustainable Renewal in Asia," embodies the concept of eternal renewal and interconnectedness, reflecting our commitment to exploring interconnected solutions for the challenges posed by
globalisation, urbanisation, and environmental degradation.
