About SYPC
The Singapore Youth Policy Challenge (SYPC) is a flagship initiative organised by the Political Science Society of NUS (PSSOC). Formerly known as the Singapore Undergraduate Policy Competition (SUPC), the competition has evolved in both scope and vision.

Previously, SUPC catered primarily to undergraduates and polytechnic students. However, recognising the value of diverse perspectives in tackling complex societal challenges, we have rebranded as SYPC and expanded our outreach to include Junior College students.
SYPC serves as a dynamic platform for students to explore policy-making, develop innovative and sustainable solutions, and present their ideas to a panel of esteemed judges, including academics, senior government officials, and policy professionals. The top teams will receive cash prizes, and outstanding proposals may even be considered for real-world implementation.
In addition to the competition, participants will benefit from interactive workshops and keynote sessions led by industry experts, providing valuable insights and hands-on experience in crafting impactful policy solutions.
This annual competition has since attracted over 160 participants, from both local and international universities. With our expanded outreach this edition, SYPC is set to grow even further.
Join us in shaping the policies of tomorrow, today.
