Political Science Society of NUS
Understanding Politics, Securing Student Welfare
The Political Science Society of NUS (PSSOC) was founded in 1967 to serve as a bridge between the Faculty, Administrators and Students of the Political Science Department in the National University of Singapore (NUS). With over half a century of experience in student representation, PSSOC has also undertaken an educational role seeking to raise political awareness among the wider NUS community. Such efforts are manifested in our events and campaigns such as Political Science Freshmen Orientation Camp (PS Camp) and Singapore Model United Nations (SMUN) which have since become an annual fixature in Singapore's political calendar.
The Political Science Society of NUS is registered with the Registry of Societies of Singapore (https://app.ros.gov.sg/ui/index/index.aspx). It is formed by students of the National University of Singapore (NUS) and is a self-governing body.
The Political Science Society of NUS is not part of the legal entity of NUS. It does not represent NUS and cannot act or make any representation on its behalf.
